Richmond attended the Orange's scrimmage against Daemen on Saturday night during his official visit.

Kadary Richmond became the second member of Syracuse’s 2020 recruiting class on Monday, according to a report from CuseNation.

The Brooklyn native, from Brewster Academy (New Hampshire), joins Woody Newton as members of the 2020 class. 247Sports ranks Richmond as the No. 101 player in his class and the No. 11 combo guard. He’s a 6-foot-5 guard rated as a four-star recruit.

Richmond was first reported to have committed on Oct. 11, but that report was later retracted. He was originally in the Class of 2019, but decided to take a prep year at Brewster and join the Class of 2020.

After the Orange missed out on combo guard Andre Jackson when Jackson committed to Connecticut on Oct. 2, SU offered Richmond three days later. He took his official visit to Syracuse last weekend before his decision on Monday. With one more spot open to the list of available scholarships, Richmond appears to be the final piece to the Orange’s 2020 class.

Richmond chose the Orange over Connecticut, Florida State, Cincinnati and Georgetown.
